Welcome to Arlington Heights

With all the amenities you’d expect from a major city packed into one of the suburbs’ most beloved villages, Arlington Heights earns its reputation. Located about 25 miles northwest of Chicago, it offers a vibrant downtown filled with restaurants, theaters, shopping, and two Metra stations for a convenient 30-minute ride to Ogilvie Station. Summer brings Arlington Al Fresco, when the entire downtown goes pedestrian-only, and the streets come alive — one of my favorite things about this community. Add Frontier Days, miles of bike paths, golf courses, and strong neighborhood character throughout, and it’s easy to see why Arlington Heights consistently ranks among the most sought-after addresses in the suburbs.

Schools: Township High School District 214 (home of John Hersey High School), a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon district.
